What is Lorem Ipsum?
In publishing and graphic design, lorem ipsum (derived from Latin dolorem ipsum, translated as "pain itself") is a filler text commonly used to demonstrate the graphic elements of a document or visual presentation. Replacing meaningful content with placeholder text allows viewers to focus on graphic aspects such as font, typography, and page layout without being distracted by the content.
Why can it be useful?
Sometime when you create content to upload to a demo site you need to add something to the document in order for SharePoint to allow it to be uploaded. It will reject empty documents.
Of course you can you can go for the old-fashion approach of hitting your keyboard "^&$#&^$%^#&vbjashcbhjscvhjvuvcaasc" or the classic "This is a demo document".
But why not do it as a professional designer and add some paragraphs.
Ok, how do we do this stuff?
Open Microsoft Office Word and type =Lorem() and hit enter. Some demo text will appear.
It's a nice trick during live demos to wow your audience.
